With 2,900 rooms and over 1,000 hectares along one of the world’s most beautiful, white sand beaches, the $4bn Baha Mar Resort, owned by Baha Mar Ltd in New Providence, Bahamas, is the largest resort development in the western hemisphere.
THE PROJECT
In 2013, PHD were called in by controlled demolition experts CDI Demolition Corp, from Maryland USA to shroud towers ‘F’ and ‘J’ at the Wyndham Resort in a scaffold coat in preparation for the dismantling of the two towers. The PHD team mobilised to provide a dust free environment, which was also sound proofed at lower levels.
