Hoist Design Engineer

PHD are currently recruiting for a Hoist Design Engineer.
PHD has been in operation for over 30 years and are one of the biggest Scaffolding and Hoist Companies across the UK and they employ over 200 people across Europe. In addition to this they have a very well-established client base and are one of the most recognisable companies within their area of specialism.
To support the continued growth of our business and to deal with the amount of work we have now and forecasted we have the need to appoint a Hoist Design Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Hoist Design Engineer, you will be required to create Hoist & MCWP drawings as well as doing Structural analysis calculations for Base and Tie loads. In addition to this you will be required to manage the jobs / Projects and coordinate with the installers to make sure they have a full understanding on the drawings provided.
Ideal Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in powered access design
- Competent with using CAD packages (AutoCAD and Revit)
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
