Rest In Peace Tommy “Tam” Moffat
It is with great sadness and regret that we at PHD offer our deepest condolences to Tommy “Tam” Moffat Snr’s family, friends, and colleagues at this very sad time.
Tam Moffat Snr was tragically involved in a fatal road traffic accident on the morning of Sunday 6th of February.
Tam will be deeply missed by his loving mother Christine, sister Christine, devoted wife Suzanne, son Thomas Jnr., daughter Georgia, grandson Parker, Granddaughter Sophie, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Tam was very well respected within the Scaffolding Industry as a knowledgeable, skilled, and hardworking man with over 40 years’ experience. Tam worked in a multitude of different Industries in his many years of work, from Street work to Power Stations, Petrochemical, Offshore, Industrial and Construction and even some time in a coal mine in Mongolia.
Tam touched many lives in both his personal and work life and will be fondly remembered by all at PHD and indeed the wider Scaffolding and Construction Industry. Tam had only recently joined PHD and had already progressed through the ranks to take on a Night Supervisor role on one of PHD’s sites in Dundalk, Ireland.
“I have personally known Tam for over 27 years, and I would class Tam as one the best scaffolders that I have had the pleasure of working with. He was a gentleman and was liked and respected by many” – Matthew McCormack, PHD Contracts Manager.
